This place was started to tell people about an Auto Repair Company that took my money, and didn't fix my car. In the future I want to hear from other people that have been screwed over by Businesses that didn't do their job. Whether it's house painters, remodlers,auto repair Ect... We will name , names, address and phone numbers of the business, that Screwed us over. This is the only justice we will get sence we will never get our money back.
This is my story. It started Wed. April 6, 1999, I took my car to BOSWELL'S SERVICE CENTER To get my air conditoner fixed. Boswell's said they would check out the car and get back to me. The next day they called and said it was the compresser, and it would cost $900.00 for the part and $800.00 for labor. I told the I would call them back with an answer, because that was alot of money. I did call them back the next day(thur) and complained about the amount, they told me that was the best they could do. I called around but no one else could do it at that time. It was already about 90 degreese out side. So I told them to do it. Well Tues. Apr. 13 I called to see it my car was ready, because I had to rent a car; this was really getting expensive, They said it was not ready but would be ready the next day. The next day I called 4-13-99 They said that it needed a new part, a Condenser. Well at this point they had my car and I owed them $1700.00 and my A/C would not work with out this new part. So now it would take until 4-15-99 to get the part and then they would have to put it on. Well I called back 4-16-99. It still was not ready, and guess what, it needs another new part, and it won't work with out it. Now I owe $1700 + 322.00, and If I go get my car it still won't work. So now I'm at their Mercy. I called back 4-16-99 because Boswell's was closed on the weekend. Now they tell me that it needs a drier and an Expansion valve 2 more part for the A/C and the pair will have to be shiped in. Now it wouldn't be ready till 4-21-99, So again I call back and it not ready, it will be ready the next day. Finally I pick up my car on Apr. 22, 99; 15 days after I droped off my car to this theif. The rental car cost $750.00 and the total bill on my car was $3.326.48. I ask Boswell for the old parts that came off of my car and he said that he threw them in th trash. I drove the car off and the A/C quit working 2 blocks from Boswell's Service Center. I got home and noticed that on the receipt in small print, he had added hand written exclusions on the warranty. This made it clear to me that he had with intensionly, SCREWED me. He knew the A/C would not work, and he knew, what to exclude, because he did not fix it. I talked to my bank and they said he was at my bank when the bank opened the door at 9 am, and got a cash for my check, He knew the A/C would not work, so he made sure he got my money before I would think to stop payment on the check. So I took it to another Repair shop. They looked ir over and said it needed an Expansion Valve, This is the same part that Boswell said he had replaced. The new shop ordered the part and had the car back to me the next day. When the new shop put the part on, they said the factory seal had not been cut and the Orignal factory Expansion was still on the car; also Boswell had left several bolts out which could cause big problems; in addition Boswell's had disconnected the Cruse control to get access to the compresser. I had to rent another car for the day and a half($85)while the car was at the new shop,new repairs was $562. The New Shop (whos name will remain annomis), took pictures of the work they did, gave me old parts, and gave me a complete statement of what they had to do to make repairs. The New shop said that the whloe job should have taken 4 day 5 tops. Not 15 days. The Auto Shop that screwed me :
